Layouts and Inspiration
This month is packed full of wonderful layouts, cards and projects for everyone. We are focusing on handmade embellishments this month that will be the envy of any scrapper and you will learn to create these at a fraction of the cost of brought ones! And you can be proud to say I made it myself!!
We have classes for kids during the school holidays which include a wonderful card class, a mini book, and a calendar which would be perfect as a gift for Christmas. Our Kids classes are on display in store but be quick to book in as there are limited places. (Children should be at least 8 yrs of age)
We also have an exciting new idea for a canvas layout. Hey don't forget that our Friday Night Scrap night is FREE... so if you want to come along and have some fun with other Crafty people.. book your seat now... ( it fills up fast so don't forget to ring us and secure your seat...) and best of all............ ITS FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Scrap it TV
New to the store we have the new DVD from Scrap IT TV which is featured on the Aurora channel. This DVD highlights new products and projects you can create in the comfort of your own home. Step by Step instructions from many talented scrap bookers and card makers all over the world will keep you busy for ages reproducing the many techniques they teach you! Supported by Bella this DVD is a must for any level of Scrapbooking or Card Making you may be!
Retreat News!
We have managed to get a few more places for the retreat!!!
Our ‘NO FRILLS’ retreat is happening in October. So if you would like to join

October 8th Friday night 7pm, 9th & to Sunday 10th 2pm 2010
Starting at 5pm on Friday for Dinner at 6pm !
Price: $175.00
Included in the cost:
· Accommodation ( No linen supplied)
· All Meals ( includes morning& afternoon tea & Super)
This is a NO Frills retreat which means there is no classes, no goodies bag, no challenge packs Just plain and simple SCRAPTIME!
We will be offering a discount shopping day before the retreat!
We can help organize your layouts before we go so all you have to do is sit and scrap!
Full payment for the remaining money is required before the end of September.
If you haven’t done so already, your deposit is DUE NOW!!!
Challenge Pack
Each Month there are two different challenge packs on offer. These are fun to do. All products are included in pack and then you bring it into store when you have completed the challenge to go into the draw to win a store voucher. Come on Take the challenge!!
We also have a Card challenge pack for all those card makers out there that like a bit of a challenge this is for you.
New Kits
We have some new kits available in store this month.
These kits are great for beginners or if you are stuck for ideas, it’s a great way to get you started again.
All kits come with all materials needed to create the layout except for lettering.
All kits come fully instructed and are reasonably priced.

Beginners Card and Scrapbooking Classes
We have been inundated with requests for beginner’s classes for cards and scrapbooking. We are listening and we have incorporated them into our calendar.
v Card Makers
Be inspired to create your very own hand made & personal cards. We offer new techniques for beginners.
Every Monday morning you will make and take 2 cards home. The cost of this class is $12.00 ( unless it is a specialty card)
this will include all materials for the class. Bring your own tools and adhesives to use. Tea and coffee will be provided.
v Scrapbookers
Stuck for ideas? Don’t know where to start? Or just need to refresh!! Come in and do a beginners class or how we like to put it “ Inspirational class”! The cost of this class is $10 + Products. You will learn new techniques each month so you
can create different ways if capturing your memories forever! Let us show you where to start and inspire you!!!!
Canvas Class
Nerrida has created a wonderful canvas layout as a class for this month. She will be showing you a blending technique that will be the base of your background for this layout.
She will also be showing you a technique for creating flowers and trees on the layout.
